Halo 3 vs. Call of Duty 4

Here's a common debate that I hear and it fits perfectly into this website. So? Which is better and why?

CALL OF DUTY 4
Innfinity ward fixing what they say there going to fix and if they cant fix it appologizing to game players and not just half assing it or ruining four other game mechanics in the process..... Halo 3's sword clash, hit detection, flight armor, invisible sniper kill zone, and the now fixed beatdown system.
highly detailed and organized storyline and campaign
online play
not very many annoying eight year olds screaming about how badly there going to rape you

CoD4, easily.

• Fewer 8-year-olds
  
• Strategy is your best defense, not luck and jumping
  
• More realistic, more immersive
  

Now this is a tough pick, out of these two games I would go with halo 3 being the better game. It has a better campaign, a way better multiplayer, better hit detection the only thing that really bothers me about halo is that it is made by bungie. Bungie was great in the past but they tried to make things more complicated which is making the game go down hill. The only thing that cod4 has on halo is that it is made by Innfinity ward.


Halo 3 = 8.2/10
Cod4 = 7/10[wow][/wow]

And another thing halo is not about luck and jumping, you use more strategy than what you would use in cod4. In Cod4 people spread out and try to kill people, in halo 3 if you do that you will get killed. Halo 3 is all about team work and strategy trust me on this one

I will give Cod4 credit for its realistic game play but there weapons like the m16 are way to powerfull i mean the m16 out snipes a barret .50 cal. Alot of the times you shoot some in the head with the barret they just shake it off now who sakes off a .50 cal right through the head, the only person i can see doing that is josh F. but he is jesus. Thats just one more thing that innfinity ward needs to fix.

Just for those of you who don't know this is what a 50 cal. bullet looks like I happen to own one.

And yes that is large enough to probably take of almost any appendage or at least make it useless. so you don't keep running after getting hit by one, get it right infinity ward, I don't care what type of body armor your using this is the same round they use to shoot tanks and planes. Also Halo might be a better all around game but COD is a better online game.

Halo 3's online multiplayer is only worse because of the fact that it is harder to kill people than in LAN's.
As Doofy and I proved at Gorske's grad party.
Me and him were pretty evenly matched there, but online Doofy is twice the player.

I say Halo 3, only because it has Grifball.
