Egypt Central

wow, this isn't going to as long as the others, just because I'm not really one to write that much.

Ok, so I happened to stumble across this new band looking for myspace layouts. The name is Egypt Central, and I caught a sound clip of their song 'You make me sick'. Instantly, I was hooked.
I bought the first CD, which is self titled, and found that there's a lot of really good songs. A lot of the stuff could be considered depressing, or 'emo' but it's not like 'i'm going to cut myself' bullshit. The band combines a good singing voice along with screaming, and an upbeat rock line.
The band consists of these people:
John Falls – vocals
Joey Chicago – bass
Heath Hindman – guitars
Blake Allison – drums

Honestly, they look a lot like your typical rock band, but *shrugs* hooray for commercialism, yes? I didn't really see it happening any other way for a band trying to make their way.

I can say that if you're into alternative rock/metal, definitally check out Egypt Central, they're one of my personal favorites.
