Site Suggestions

Hey if you guys have any site suggestions post em in here, Jim and I will consider them and see if its something we want to do

any feedback is good feedback for us

oh and btw, if we get the site to 100 members before the end of the year i will buy a domain for the site and maybe get a server for it so keep recruiting!

This may be something your already working on and have considered, but I think the layout could use some work. It's nice for something temporary, no offense to whomever created it, but it's a little blah. Also, our header banner consists of entirely movie references. We're not only a movie oriented site, we're "Midland Movies and More". I'm not really a fan of the picture editing either. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad banner, I just don't think it fits the site. Jessica has done a lovely job on it, though, nonetheless. I was wondering if I could possibly try my hand at the banner making process? If your interested, I have a portfolio that I can show you of my previous works and I have done commissions previously for other websites and people who request it. If you would rather keep Jessica on banner task force, and choose not to accept my offer, that's perfectly fine as well.

hey rachel, yeah i see what you're saying, if you would like to take a stab at making a new banner feel free. i'll pretty much put whoevers up that i like. and as far as the site design goes what do you suggest?

Okay, cool. I'll have to experiment with a few different ideas I have and see what I come up with. As for the site itself, don't get me wrong, I know nothing about site design at all, but maybe something a little less plan would be nice. Maybe some really subtle designs in the sidebars or a theme (not anything cluttered, just something light) would be an improvement. Or you could leave it exactly the same. *shrug* Either way.
